UFC 136 and Upcoming Shows

This past weekend I attended UFC 136 and the UFC Fan Fest in Houston. Let me tell you , the UFC knows how to put on an event. The fan fest was insane. I got to meet, get pics, and autographs from many fighters. Guys like Don Frye, Nate Diaz, Josh Koscheck, Tim Kennedy, Duane Ludwig, Court McGee and many others were all very professional and friendly. Giveaways were plentiful and if anyone needs fatburners I’ve got a ton. For some reason every booth that had fatburners gave me some. Wierd, considering I’m carb loading right now. I picked up a few Tapout, Dethrone Royalty, and Clinch Gear t-shirts that I will wear proudly but please don’t think I can fight. The fights at Toyota Center on Saturday night were incredible. Thanks to Dethrone Royalty for the seats we won at their booth.
This week (Oct 14-15) I will be performing at The Comedy Showcase in Houston. I’ll be posting some sort of ticket special soon on my Facebook page. Oct 19 I’ll be at Boomtown Casino in New Orleans.

Off to Florida Poppa

A few months ago my Dad bought me a car (I'm very successful). My old truck, Purple Heat, is for sale if anyone is interested. What I didn't realize at the time was that he basically was turning me into a slave by buying me said car. "Hey Robert, why don't you come over to the house this week and do a bunch of shit for me seeing as I bought you a car?" That's not what he says but I guarantee that's the meaning. So for the past few months whenever I'm home I go by the house and see Mom and Dad, cut grass, lay grass seed, blow the driveway and back deck, move boxes, drive him around in his Corvette and Triumph (he can't drive), and bitch about how I hate doing all these things!! When my Dad bought me the car he said something about taking him to his 50th high school reunion in Tampa, FL a few months later. I was like OK, whatever.
Hitting The Road!!

As I type this I'm in Paris, TX waiting to do a show at Jaxx Gourmet Burgers (Yes, a dream gig at a hamburger place)!!!! My May is very busy as I'm on the road for consecutive weeks going to Tampa, Cincinnati, Bloomington, Hartford, with a few days in St. Louis sprinkled in. A month on the road means good times. I'm working with some cool people and some good friends. Also, I will be on The Cowhead Radio Show in Tampa, FL on April 27 at 4pm and then The Bob and Tom Show on May 5. I'm going to be busy but that is good!!! I'll try to make my next blog funnier.
Last Comic Standing 2010 Redux/

So NBC has decided to bring back Last Comic Standing for the summer of 2010. Seeing as the producers of the show know and like me, I will be auditioning in NYC on March 20. Do I think I have a chance, yes. Otherwise I wouldn't audition. It's a tv show and seeing as I made the semis the last season it was on who knows? If nothing else I'm gonna be in NYC for 5 days and am gonna see one of my best friends from high school that I haven't seen in 20 years. It's not all bad. And if I get on tv I get paid so booyah!!
